This is really, really, ridiculously good news.There is a God. He created you on purpose with incredible value. He loves you with no conditions: that means if you never gave Him the time of day, or never changed a single thing about your life or lifestyle, He would still love you because He made you.You may have noticed there's evil in this world, and even a little in every one of us, so we often choose ourselves and our own interests over God or others--making ourselves to be god of our life. But the One who created you came to earth in human form to rescue us from ourselves and evil. Crazy? Yes. That's why it's news. Jesus Christ is the only God of any faith who comes to you first. He leaves it up to you to accept this gift of love. Will you take it?

Ever walk into a church and wish you hadn't? Unfortunately, most of us have. Although we hope you don't have that experience again, we're not the perfect church either. We started with the hopes of being a different church than what we've experienced before; one that loses the religion and consumerism model and focuses solely on relationship. Family Room Church (or FRC, as it's lovingly dubbed) is a group of people with one simple interest: to love and be loved by Jesus, and to love everyone around us. Rev. Kevin "Mac" McClure has been a pastor and church planter for over 32 years. Plainly put, his passion is Jesus, and helping others get to know him.Kevin is also Dean of Students at The Master's Institute seminary and founder of Conflict Solutions. Kevin and his wife Laura host Family Room Church in their home, so you get the inside scoop on a pastor's life.
Chaz Lowder has been producing, recording, and editing music for most of his adult life. Chaz loves nothing more than worshipping Jesus, and helping others do the same. In his spare time Chaz works at KTIS, loves his wife and 3 kids, and builds bass banjos at 2am.

We chose the word "Father" to represent our Core Values as God, our Loving Father, is at our core.F-Fautless Scripture: the Bible is infallible and without error in its original manuscripts, and is in fact God's own word designed to lead us into a relationship with Him.A-Adiaphora: a fancy theological word to describe that category of things that the Bible neither commands nor prohibits, about which Christians may disagree (as they are not things of eternal consequence). Understanding this concept helps us grasp what hills we will choose to die on, and prevent us from getting our shorts in a bunch over things that don't matter eternally.T-Together in Love: who we are together is more important than what we do together. God's focus is on relationships, not tasks.H-Holy Spirit Experience: we not only want a biblical theology of the Holy Spirit, we want this theology so that we can have a valid biblical experience. We want to be a church that celebrates the Spirit and His ministry.E-Everyone is a Minister: each believer, regardless or age, gender, ethnicity, or social standing, receives spiritual gifts and can serve God's purposes with significance.R-Rescue Captives: before we know Jesus Christ personally, we are not rebels who need to be judged, but we are all captives who need Jesus to rescue us from ourselves.

You've heard of the A-team. Since that name was taken, we had to come up with our own little schtick. Much to the relief of some, the "D" in D-teams actually stands for discipleship. Perhaps not nearly as exciting as you were thinking.One of our strongest philosophies as a house/cell church is not having a consumer mentality. That means instead of a bunch of programs for you to choose from, we have one simple path to discipleship to challenge you with: getting to know Jesus in the company of others.You don't have to attend FRC on Wednesdays to be a part of a D-team. Just contact us for more info.
